Under development since 2018, ME2C® Environmental is creating a new approach to support the extraction and domestic processing of Rare Earth Elements (REEs) through our novel sorbent technology devised to maintain purity of extracted minerals utilizing a non-pollutant process.

Sorbents are highly effective at adsorption, and through this inventive technology not yet applied to REE extraction, we aim to revolutionize the recovery of REEs from diverse sources like coal ash, acid mine drainage (tailing ponds), and mining, to provide domestic processing capabilities.

With an estimated REE market value of $15 Billion (U.S.)*, our solution addresses the urgent need for environmentally safe, cost-effective REE processing, reducing reliance on international sources and strengthening U.S. infrastructure.
